the mission

I've spent over a decade in Personal Injury law, and most of it watching people fall through the cracks. Injured workers who had no idea what they were owed. Families who couldn't find help in their own language. People who signed things first and paid for it later, because no one explained.

For years, I was the lawyer who came in and fixed those situations. Pápico is about getting there first - before there's anything to fix.

I'll tell you the truth, even if there's nothing in it for me. If I can help you, I dedicate myself to it. It starts with a conversation and if it's not in my lane, I'll tell you.

Think about this:
GP's are doctors, just like heart surgeons. If you have a heart condition, you might see the GP first, then be referred to a heart surgeon.

Similarly, I may not be able to help with a Tax Law matter, but I can refer you to the exact person who can. I've got the numbers, and I know who I'm going to call.

And when I do send you elsewhere, I don't disappear. Need a second opinion later? A sanity check? Someone to explain what your new lawyer just said? I'm still here. That doesn't stop being true the moment you walk out.

El Abogado Canguro

I grew up in Melbourne with Chilean parents. Spanish at home, English everywhere else. I also gained a real understanding of what it's like to face a system that wasn't built with you in mind.

That's not a line on a website for me. It's the reason Pápico exists. When you're already stressed and feeling out of your depth, doing it all in another language makes everything harder. I take that part off the table.
